Alex Heisey, Atlanta DJ, all up in the studio with the smiles. Got to kick it with this guy the other day and had a great time talking about Atlanta music culture, trying to figure out what to do with his hands, and putting together a portrait that expresses just how genuine of a guy he is.

A local marketing agency asked me to come out and provide a workshop for their client’s brand in Atlanta, GA. The workshop was the concept of building people’s confidence for headshots in front of the camera. Initially posing for a photo how they normally would, then followed by breaking down the image, discussing why and how different poses can benefit the subject and help build confidence. This time around we printed on a high gloss pearl paper in black white to get the most pop out of subjects.

Let me introduce you to my friend and talented artist, Priscilla Williams of Eleven is Prime. VoyageATL decided to showcase her, her work, and her story on their site to give you an insight to her and her brand. This gave me the chance to photograph and peak behind the curtain a bit of what she has been up to. Eleven is Prime is the expressive outlet of custom garments for Priscilla. We live in a time where every bit of trying to be a half decent human to help our planet is very much needed. Eleven is Prime is just that, it is focused on engineering and repurposing garments into Priscilla own unique vision. This is the first of what to seems to be many shoots ahead with Hannah. Hannah, here in Atlanta, GA told me that in front of the camera she is very comfortable to model and able to become a different person. To show a side of her that she normally does not share publicly. She was once more frequent in front of the camera, but not with her growing collection of tattoos she is excited to jump back in. This was a fun casual shoot and very much looking to getting creative with our shoots in the future.
